62MWp Solar Project in Ajuy, Iloilo takes off with EPC Contract Signing

The EPC contract signing marks the official launch of the 62MWp solar project in Ajuy, Iloilo, supporting large-scale renewable energy development in the region.
Jin Navitas Solaris, Inc. (Solaris), has signed an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for its 62.01MWp solar project in the Municipality of Ajuy, Province of Iloilo.The signing of the EPC contract between SOLARIS and China Energy Engineering Group Northeast No. 1 Electric Power Construction Co. Ltd. (NEPC) marks the official start of the solar project’s implementation, accelerating the company's 1000MWp renewable energy installation target in the next five years. The construction of the said solar project commenced in January 2025 and is expected to be completed by end of this year. Upon completion, the Ajuy Solar Project is projected to generate 94.32 gigawatt hours of clean and renewable energy each year, enough to supply electricity to over 25,000 Filipino homes year-round, and shall support the Department of Energy's target to achieve 35% Renewable Energy share by 2030. The project will also contribute to the economic growth of the Province of Iloilo and improve the power supply situation in the Panay Island. In October 2024, SOLARIS energized as load, the Philippines' first 6.554MWp utility scale rooftop solar project in Naic, Cavite under its NING*NING brand.
